For millennia, stories have shaped the world in which we live. Whether it’s Homer’s Odyssey, or the “Taoist Farmer,” there is no denying the impact that stories--long and short, poetry and prose--have had on humanity. Stories cause us to reflect on our own lives and compel us to make life-changing decisions.

Hence, when we tell our stories, we have the ability to not only change our lives for the better, but we have the ability to change the world.

In this class, we will reflect on the experiences that have changed us, analyze writing techniques that move us, and compose stories that move mountains.

What to expect regarding the workload:

Students will do daily journaling for the first three weeks.
