Speech and Debate Level 1

This class is for students who are new to public speaking. Listening to speeches and debates for analytical purposes will start the class. Tongue twisters, speeches, and audio visuals will be used for effective discussions. Be an effective communicator.

Speech and Debate Level 2

This class develops communication efficiency. Presenting, listening, thinking, and responding will be encouraged. Be an effective communicator.

Speech and Debate Level 3

Developing skill in communication through debate by listening, organizing, and presenting with technology for audio/visual. Building on other’s ideas and responding effectively and persuasively will be taught in this class. Be an effective communicator.

This is a one hour class with one hour of homework between sessions.

The summer intensive session will be two hours of class and two hours of homework each week.

About the coach: Coach Tanya has been teaching for over 30 years. Her education includes BS Political Science, CA Teaching Credential, BCC, BCLAD, Certification as a Professional Certified Coach, ESL, and Reading Recovery. She loves teaching. Please join her class to see what you can learn!
