In this course we will practice a variety of writing techniques for writing contests. We will explore multiple genres, including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, to understand each as a distinctive medium. Furthemore,  analyze what ties all these genres together. We will treat writing as a fun adventure of which we will travel to foreign lands, learn new ways of communicating, and grow as a result of the journey.  Writing is a process, and we will engage in this process and learn to love the challenges the process brings. By the end of the course students will have written three works of literary art and submitted to three creative writing contests.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTeacher: I am so thrilled to join the Keetown Academy community.
